I visited the Dollar Tree and the local thrift store the other day and picked up a bunch of those clear glass vases that everyone ends up with a plethora of. You know the ones. They come with flower deliveries and somehow seem to multiply on their own. The thrift store is overwhelmed with these clear glass vases and they come in tons of different shapes and sizes. I picked them up for a few bucks and used my mad alcohol ink skills on them and turned them into amazing works of art that in my opinion kick a%$!! I sealed them first with Krylon Kamar which is the only sealant that won't make alcohol ink run and blend. Then I finish it off with a few coats of Krylon Clear Gloss. They are purely decorative or can actually be used as a vase with real flowers or fake flowers. I wouldn't use this technique on drinking glasses or anything that is going to be used with food as that would result in poisoning yourself.... and I like you just the way you are. Take a look at my vases and let me know what you think.
